Hello everone.. been going through a lot this month.My mother was a survivor of Breast cancer for 8 years. She even survived after the cancer metastasized to her brain, twice, but a week after I started at DeVry we found out that my mother's cancer had metastasized to the meninges of her brain and was terminal. I came home of course. She had surgery to place a Ommaya Reservoir for Chemo therapy so we thought we had a few months left with her but the cancer turned inward toward the brain not long after that. She didn't wake up. Her neuro-surgeon said she had less than 24-48 hours, she lasted for a week before she left this world. Her funeral was last weekend.
